[excerpt - 2 minutes] This Store Too (w/ Marion Wilson), digital video, color, sound, 22 minutes loop, 2004. This collaborative video documents a project organized and sponsored by the New Museum of Contemporary Art. Artist, Marion Wilson, made small sculptures out of material she purchased from homeless men served by the Bowery Mission. For six weeks she offered her objects for sale from a pushcart that she operated around the area of the Mission. All decisions for marketing and sales were made in conjunction with her Mission collaborators and all of the profits were donated back to the homeless program and to the "business." The video was shown as part of the several off-site installations of the project at galleries in New York, Miami, and Seattle.
